Extreme NORTH Speaker Bio

Gabriella Howard
The host of Extreme NORTH
Catholic Athletes for Christ member
Music & Youth Minister

As a part of the music ministry at St. Patrick church in Stoneham, Gabriella sings leadGabriella_Howard_figure_skater_host_Extreme_NORTH vocals for the Sunday youth Mass. Through experiences nationally, including youth ministry, campus ministry and volunteer work, Gabriella comes highly recommended as someone who is young but who also connects to the youth of today.

Along with her singing talents and love of Christ, Gabriella has long been an extremely gifted and sometimes referred to as an "elite" figure skater.

Gabriella began figure skating at the age of eleven in Stoneham, Massachusetts. At sixteen, Gabriella moved to Milan to train with the Italian National Olympic Team. After one year, she returned to the U.S. to train at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY.

She competed for the U.S. in numerous high-level skating competitions. She lived, worked and trained at the Olympic Training Center for three years. Sadly, in the second year she had a set back and broke her ankle.

Since then Gabriella has retired from her busy skating career and became an active member in Catholic Athletes for Christ. Still in her early 20's, Gabriella is looking to serve Christ with all her talents, and is excited about this season of Extreme NORTH events!
